It all seems so simple...ALL you need is MONEY.

If all you need is money then why do development professionals care about program statistics? Why should program staff care about their outcomes?

Fundraisers can make a GREAT case to individual donors and corporate sponsors when they have great data to share from their programs. It's a great cycle, excellent program results leads to increased funding for the program to reach more in need.

In the session "All You Need is Money", Stacey Harris, Founder of Social Evolution, show how program statistics can help you with effective fundraising.

Creative and compelling Fundraising Messages for Digital Solicitations

The growth of digital solicitations and online giving has outpaced growth in print and direct mail solicitations. Today's digital messages must also differ from the fundraising messages communicated offline. How do you create memorable digital solicitations and messages that inspire action rather than the delete button? This session will help you understand the best ways to craft digital solicitations and how to create messages that inspire your audience to act.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will:

    • Understand the emotional connection that messages can have with donors
    • Know how to build messaging that inspires action and participation among donors and the general public
    • The various components to messaging that will resonate with an audience - especially complex and challenging organizations that need to inspire quickly in a digital environment

It's time to examine, or re-examine why you do what you do, and why you work where you do.

Attend the morning of educational sessions at our Celebration of Philanthropy and learn how!

In the session "Unlocking Your Potential by Unleashing Your Purpose" Paul Eisenstein - Social Enterprise Practice Leader for Y Scouts, will share the power that can be unleashed when your personal values match those of the organization for whom you work. Deepen your commitment to your current position, or learn how to find that "perfect match."

Click Here to view the agenda of morning educational sessions.

Paul Eisenstein is the Social Enterprise Practice Leader for Y Scouts.  Paul joined Y Scouts in 2012 and works with nonprofits and social enterprises to identify and hire leaders who not only have deep functional expertise but are aligned with an organization’s unique purpose, values, and culture and possess the characteristics of truly Exceptional Leaders.  Paul gains satisfaction from knowing that the leaders he places directly help those who struggle become strong.

From 2008 to 2012, Paul served as the V.P. of Operations at The Mission Continues, a nationally-focused nonprofit dedicated to empowering returning military veterans in continued service.  Paul helped grow The Mission Continues from a $250K organization in 2008 to nearly $8 million in 2011 revenue.  Prior to The Mission Continues, Paul worked for the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program and also served as a youth program coordinator through AmeriCorps.  Paul earned his Bachelor's from Saint Louis University and his M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
