"Structuring Gift Planning Stewardship Conversations"

This session will help participants move past pleasantries and organize their planned gift stewardship conversations with a five-step structure that’s deployable across meetings. Sample language will be offered for each step of the structure, with an emphasis on enabling participants to follow up appropriately to a number of donor responses. After completing the session, participants will be better able to update the value of revocable deferred gift commitments, address inadequate past stewardship activity, and remedy internal problems related to a recorded planned gift commitment.

  • Office Hours is a virtual meeting which will feature one or two presenters and be hosted by a PGRTAZ board member or committee member.
  • Participants will be limited to 8 in order to encourage discussion and Q&A.
  • During the 2021-2022 program year, PGRTAZ will offer an Office Hours session on the first Tuesday of selected months at 4pm on these dates: Sept 7, Nov 2, Mar 1, and May 3.
  • PGRTAZ members will participate without a fee and will have first opportunity to register. 
  • If space is available after member registration period, one week prior to the event, non-members may register for a $10 fee.
  • Sessions will be one hour long and presentation materials (if any) by the presenter will not take more than 30 minutes of the session.
