This program will cover frequent legal ethics considerations for lawyers (and people who work with lawyers) relevant to planned giving situations including:

• When must a lawyer disclose an affiliation with a nonprofit
• Conflicts of Interest waivers that must be in writing
• Why drafting a trust and serving as trustee may be a conflict
• Ethical duties owed to beneficiaries
• Most common malpractice claims in estate planning
