The presentation will provide an overview of the statutory rights of charities in Trusts and Wills in Arizona. Particular emphasis will be on the charity’s right to information from the personal representative or trustee when named as a devisee or beneficiary. An example request for information will be provided as part of the presentation materials. We will discuss enforcement of a charity’s rights, timing considerations and strategies for maximizing efficient use of legal representation.  Finally, we will discuss marketing opportunities for estate planners and charities arising from the information provided.
